The manager will work with teams to streamline operational support systems throughout Scouts SA, boosting effectiveness and reducing the administrative burden on volunteers and staff.
The role will collaborate with teams to ensure that policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to while minimising the time spent on organisational tasks. It aims to make Scouting simpler and more enjoyable for our volunteers and staff, as well as reducing costs associated with labour-intensive processes.
This is a volunteer role open to current members of Scouts SA and other volunteers in the broader community.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee policy and procedure development and communication.
- Support Branch HR processes and implementation.
- Improve support systems for volunteers and staff across areas such as finance, facilities, HR, and grants.
- Collaborate with other teams to build a responsive and sustainable group/district support model.
- Drive implementation of the Imagine 2030
Required skills

- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience developing and implementing procedures and systems for effective management

- Ability to operate independently while contributing to a broader team
