We’re thrilled to announce Cuboree 2025: Journey to Adventure!
As South Australia’s biggest adventure for Cub Scouts, Cuboree brings together youth members for a weekend filled with fun, friendship, and adventure. This event will be a standout experience in every Cub Scout’s journey, and we need YOU to help make it truly unforgettable!
With nearly 950 Cubs and Leaders registered, we are all very excited, and hope that you are too.

Costs and Catering
Cuboree 2025: Journey to Adventure is an uncatered event for participants. This decision allows Units to better accommodate the dietary needs of their Youth Members while reducing the administrative challenges associated with bulk catering for a weekend-long camp.
To assist with planning, it is recommended that Units budget an additional $30 per participant for catering costs over the weekend.
Cuboree 2025 has been designed to offer exceptional value while maintaining affordability. Below is a comparison of participant fees from the previous two major Cub Section events:

When and where is Cuboree 2025?
Cuboree 2025 will take place from 24–26 October 2025 at Woodhouse Adventure Park, SA.
What is Cuboree?
Cuboree is a two-day, two-night adventure camp designed specifically for Cub Scouts, featuring action-packed activities, teamwork challenges, and skill-building experiences in the great outdoors!
Can I still register for Cuboree?
If you are a Joey who is transitioning to Cubs, or a new member, speak to your leader and ask then to email Cuboree@sa.scouts.com.au. If there is room in the Unit we will facilitate the registration.
After 3rd October, we will not be able to accept any further late registrations.
What is the cost to attend?
Participants Joey (7.5yo+), Cubs – $70
$30 pp catering cost suggested
Service Leaders (Scout, Venturer, Adult) – $50

There will be 3 fun-filled activity zones that the participants will visit.

Ready to test your courage and skills? This zone features thrilling adventurous activities led by Scouts SA’s qualified operators:

Are meals provided?
- Cuboree 2025 is a self catered event. Cuboree Units will be responsible for catering for their youth members and all adults in their camp sites
- Service and Activity Leaders, where associated with a Unit are encouraged to camp with that Unit
- Service and Activity Leaders (including Scouts and Venturers) who are not attached to a unit, will be catered for by the event.
Where will I be sleeping?
Cubs will camp in tents within their allocated Cuboree Unit site and sub-camp.
Unit leaders and Volunteers supporting a Cuboree Unit directly will sleep in the units in the sub camps.
Service Leaders and volunteers (including Scouts), where associated with a Unit are encouraged to camp with that Unit.
Service and Activity Leaders (including Scouts and Venturers) who are not attached to a unit, will be allocated camping areas.
When will I be allocated my Cuboree Unit?

I have registered as service / Activity Leader, when will I know what I am doing?
the Activity Zone leaders should be getting in touch with you if they have specific jobs for you, if you do not hear, you will be advised of your allocated when you get to camp

How does Cuboree ensure a safe environment for children and young people?
Cuboree follows Scouts SA’s Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy and Procedures, which include:
- A Code of Conduct for all adults and volunteers.
- Screened and trained Leaders & Service Leaders to supervise activities.
- Child-friendly reporting processes to ensure Cubs feel safe and supported.
What should I do if I have a concern about a child’s safety?
All participants, parents, and volunteers are encouraged to report any concerns to:
- The event’s Safeguarding Officer (TBA).
- A trusted Leader or Adult in attendance.
- Scouts SA – via the official reporting process.

Will Woodhouse Adventure Park remain open to the public?
No – Woodhouse Adventure Park will not be open to the public during Cuboree, with the exception of a Wedding which be held at the Manor.
Can parents attend with their children, or visit The Cuboree?
Parents can attend in a formal Adult Helper Capacity with an allocated a job. They must be a registered member of Scouts SA and have express permission from the Cub Scout Leader of their child’s Scout Group, along with the Cuboree Team.
Parents will not be able to visit The Cuboree as day visitors to Woodhouse.
