The Manager/ACC Volunteer Support is responsible for developing and implementing contemporary, inclusive volunteering models that empower our adult members and sustain Scouting in South Australia.

This is an exciting and transformative role that presents challenges but also offers significant rewards through the introduction of new support structures and models aimed at improving the Scouting volunteer experience. In turn, this will enhance the delivery of the Scouting program to the youth of our state.

This is a volunteer role open to current members of Scouts SA and other volunteers in the broader community.

Key responsibilities

  • Form a team to lead a transformational approach to volunteering in all aspects of Scouting.
  • Develop adaptable models covering program delivery, group support, and outdoor adventures.
  • Collaborate with all Branch teams to ensure alignment and support.
  • Design innovative volunteer recruitment strategies.
  • Create initiatives that enhance volunteer retention and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of theImagine 2030 

Required skills

  • Awareness of volunteering trends in Australia and within Scouts SA
