Packs and Equipment
Please refer to your adult leader, a Patrol Information Pack and the Patrol Leader information session.
All participants will need to pack for a bushwalk commencing with 2 hours of night walking on Friday night, through to Sunday.
Patrols will need to provide and cook all meals.
Suitability:
Scouts: It’s for most scouts – with a preference that they have done a 6 hour walk previously and have OAS Stage 3 skills – it’s ok if this is their first multi-day bushwalk
Cubs: They must have OAS Stage 3 in all core OAS areas (and probably ready to transition to Scouts)
Venturer Scouts: Inexperienced Venturer Scouts can participate in patrols – but Venturers are encouraged to be activity leaders helping with their peers on activity points, or other event roles.
Rover Scouts: Join with mates as activity leaders and have some fun along the way
