Scouting@Home – 20 November 2020

Scouts SA hope you and your family are keeping safe and well during this lockdown period we are experiencing in South Australia. At the moment there is still no face to face Scouting until further advice is issued from Scouts SA.

We look forward to restrictions easing soon and finishing off the Scouting year face to face if possible. We will communicate any updates to Scouting returning face to face once government directions and updates are issued – we will communicate as soon as possible to keep you all in the loop.

Just because we are staying at home it doesn’t mean Scouting has to stop. There are lots of things you could be working on either individually, online as a project patrol or as a Unit!

Time to get Creative and let us know what your Scouting world looks like. It may be your Scouting journey so far, something you’ve experienced or a memory made on a specific activity or camp that you want to share.

Some ideas to get you thinking:

  • Design a Board game
  • Digital Art (website, game, app)
  • Literature (including poetry, short story up to 1000 words)
  • Visual arts (painting, drawing, photography etc)
  • Performing Arts (dance, music, short film/comedy set)

You can enter as an individual, a Project Patrol, family – obviously make sure you don’t go against any current COVID-19 restrictions!

You can submit your work / project as a video, photo, document or presentation. Submissions need to be received by midnight Friday 27 November.

We look forward to sharing submissions received about your Scouting experience
