Volunteer of the Month

Volunteers play a vital role at Scouts SA, working alongside our youth members, staff, other volunteers and the global community to jointly achieve our goals. Through our Recognition and Rewards Program we highlight the contributions of our volunteers in various ways.

Each month, the Branch Leadership Team will select one Volunteer of the Month from those volunteers nominated, who have performed above the call of duty throughout the previous month.

How it works!

It’s easy to nominate a volunteer. Please email the name of the volunteer, along with a short summary of why the nominee would be a worthy recipient.

Nominations can be forwarded to lauren.bolster@sa.scouts.com.au who will acknowledge receipt of the nomination.

Nominations close at midnight on the 2nd Sunday of each month (Please refer to the table at the bottom of page for exact dates). If your nomination is not successful initially, please feel free to nominate that person again.

Any appointed Leader of the South Australian Branch may nominate any registered volunteer youth helper, adult helper, committee member, leader or Commissioner for the commendation of Volunteer of the Month.

Successful nominees will receive a Volunteer of the Month certificate, a thank you gift, their name entered on the Scouts SA Q-Store website and an acknowledgment in a Scouts SA Update.
