The Scouting Management is a two day non-residential weekend that includes the completion of the Child Safe Environments course (7 hours).
This course is aimed at leaders who are working in a Program Support Leader role (including Rover Unit Leader). This course replaces the need to complete the Scouting Adventure course.
Day 1 is the Child Safe Environments course (7 hours)
Day 2 will cover elements such as:
•    Team development and management
•    Building a positive culture with your volunteers
•    Developing community relationships and partnerships
•    Risk awareness and project planning
Upon successful completion of the course and the post course requirements, leaders will be eligible to be awarded their Certificate of Proficiency.
